The Flames have their foot back in the door. Now the onus is to make sure they don't take a break and end up back outside.By winning three straight games for the first time in more than two months, including Tuesday's comeback 4-2 victory over the Detroit Red Wings, the Flames put themselves back into the Western Conference's top eight.As tenuous as that perch may be, since Detroit sits just one point back, the Flames have to ensure they keep striving to move forward.Too often in games this season, they've been guilty of doing just enough to get ahead and then sitting on the lead. They don't have any laurels to rest upon at this stage of the season.Eighth place isn't enough.

The Minnesota Wild celebrate their 400th consecutive sellout crowd at the Xcel Energy Center since joining the NHL in the 2000-2001 season. The sellout came during a hockey game against the Calgary Flames, Sunday, March 7, 2010, in St. Paul, Minn. Calgary won 5-2.Despite being the career leader in goals against Minnesota Wild, Jarome Iginla hadn't scored one in 10 games. He certainly broke out of his slump in a big way. Iginla recorded his 10th career hat trick -- his third against Minnesota -- and Vesa Toskala made 27 saves in his first start since being traded to Calgary as the Flames beat the Wild 5-2 on Sunday.

Niklas Backstrom upstaged Miikka Kiprusoff after backing up the Calgary Flames star for Finland in the Olympics.
